Privacy Policy

How this site handles your data: contact form, spam protection, analytics, and your rights.

  1. Who we are

RedDevs (reddevs.io) is a freelance Cloud/DevOps engineering and consulting business. This policy explains what personal data this website processes, why, and what your rights are. For any privacy request, reach us through the contact form.

  2. Contact form

When you use the contact form we process the data you submit — your name, email address, and message — for the sole purpose of responding to your inquiry. Submissions are delivered to us as email via Mailgun (Sinch Email), acting as our email delivery processor. We keep this correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.

  3. Spam protection — Cloudflare Turnstile

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, running in invisible mode (no visible challenge widget). To distinguish humans from automated traffic, Turnstile evaluates limited device and interaction signals in your browser. Cloudflare processes this data as described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum, which we incorporate here by reference. Turnstile does not build advertising profiles and its data is not used for targeting.

  4. Analytics — PostHog

We use PostHog (EU Cloud, hosted in the European Union) to understand how the site is used — page views, language preference, and contact-form interaction events. Our configuration is deliberately privacy-respecting: your browser's Do Not Track setting is honored, automatic event capture is disabled, and session recording is disabled. We do not use analytics data for advertising and do not share it with third parties.

  5. Local storage

The site stores a single preference in your browser's local storage: your chosen theme (light/dark/system) under the key theme-preference. This value never leaves your browser and contains no personal data. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

  6. Hosting and server logs

The site is served from our own infrastructure. Like virtually all web servers, it records short-lived technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security monitoring and operations. These logs are not combined with other data and are retained only briefly.

  7. Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: our legitimate interest in securing the site and preventing spam (Turnstile, server logs) and in understanding aggregate site usage (privacy-respecting analytics); and on taking steps at your request when you contact us about our services (contact form processing).

  8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form — we respond within 30 days.

  9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or its providers change. The date below always reflects the latest revision.
